Our team had the pleasure of visiting a true UK culinary institution, and one of our valued customers: St. JOHN Restaurant.

You know that feeling when a restaurant's reputation precedes it, and then it still manages to blow you away? That was 100% our experience. Stepping into St. JOHN, you immediately sense their unwavering commitment to exquisite ingredients and a pure, unpretentious celebration of British cooking.

The Feast: A Masterclass in British Brilliance

Their philosophy of nose-to-tail brilliance isn't just a concept; it's a flavour revelation on every plate. While every dish was perfectly executed, here are a few particular highlights that captured our hearts (and taste buds):

  • Beetroot, Ricotta and Walnut Salad: An unbelievably glorious tangle of fresh, earthy flavours. 

  • The Mussels: Simple, perfect.

  • Barnsley Chop, Butterbeans and Mustard: A robust and perfectly balanced dish. It made us wonder how butterbeans could taste so incredibly good.

Every dish presented a masterclass in delicious simplicity, where every flavour served a clear purpose, and nothing was wasted. It is truly a place that leaves you feeling deeply satisfied and inspired.
